Conditions for Apple Pay Availability

To display Apple Pay as a payment method, Zap checks the following conditions on your device:

  1. Apple Pay is Enabled on Your Device

    • Your device must support Apple Pay.

    • You must have set up Apple Pay in your Wallet app.

  2. You Have a Supported Card Added

    • Apple Pay must have at least one card added that belongs to one of the supported card schemes:

      • Mastercard

      • Visa

      • American Express

How We Check for Apple Pay

When you access Zap’s payment options, we ask the system whether these conditions are met. If Apple Pay is available on your device and you have a supported card, we show Apple Pay as a payment option.

If Apple Pay is not displayed, it could be due to:

  • Apple Pay not being set up on your device.

  • No Mastercard, Visa, or American Express card being added to Apple Pay.

  • Your device not supporting Apple Pay.

Troubleshooting Apple Pay Availability

If you believe Apple Pay should be available but you’re not seeing the option, try the following steps:

  1. Ensure Apple Pay is Set Up

    • Open the Wallet app and check if Apple Pay is enabled.

  2. Check Your Added Cards

    • Make sure you have a Mastercard, Visa, or American Express card linked.

  3. Restart Your Device

    • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

  4. Update Your Zap App

    • Ensure you’re using the latest version of the Zap.
